Online Services
The Intellectual Property Office provides service to clients who have access to the internet via the 'Online Services Portal' or OSP.
These online services primarily relate to trade mark services at present.
Online Searches - It is currently possible to search the trade mark system by the following criteria
*Registered trade mark number (GGGT****)
*Mark text and/or Vienna Classification for figurative/graphic parts of the mark
*UK or overseas registration number in order to obtain the Baiiwick of Guernsey GGGT number.
Online Application Forms - There are a number of trade mark applications that can be made online with the appropriate registration and access to the Online Services Portal.
* Primary/Supported Trade Mark Applications
*Trade Mark Renewal - through a recognised agent or by requesting a trade mark PIN.
*Change of Proprietor Name and/or Address
* Assignment (Change of Ownership) in respect of a registered trade mark
In the future it is anticipated that there will be additional online services available to intellectual property clients.
